Neal J. Winzelberg, MD

Dr. Neal J. Winzelberg completed his medical training in SUNY Downstate Brooklyn, NY and Albert Einstein College of Medicine then continued his training in gastroenterology at the Westchester County Medical Center. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, his expertise includes cancer diagnosis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and specialized procedures such as ERCP and Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy. He is at the forefront in the treatment of difficult diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Practicing in Brick, New Jersey for over 20 years, he is well respected throughout the community as a compassionate and thorough gastroenterologist and is the current Chief of Gastroenterology at Ocean Medical Center.

Dr. Neal Winzelberg is dedicated to the care of people with special needs and in 2010, was the recipient of the Healthcare Professional of the Year Award from the ARC, acknowledging his years of compassionate care to disadvantaged people.

He is a long term resident of Toms River and has three children.

Assif Rozovsky, MD

Dr. Assif Rozovsky completed his medical and gastroenterology training at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. His expertise includes cancer diagnosis, inflammatory bowel disease, and disorders of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, including oncology bowel disease and celiac disease.

Practicing in Brick for over 15 years, he has established himself as a well-respected gastroenterologist. He maintains close ties with his colleagues in Philadelphia and often participates in the medical conferences there discussing the different fields of gastroenterology and hepatology. Often described as the quintessential physician, he has a broad range of interests which include triathlons, nutrition, and the arts. He is happily married with three children in Toms River.

Pacifico A. Magahis, Jr., MD

Dr. Pacifico A. Magahis completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and his internal medicine residency at New York University Medical Center Bellevue Hospital, New York and a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Cornell University and he received his Doctor of Medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

His expertise includes cancer diagnosis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and specialized procedures such as ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound and Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy. He is an active member of the community and in his church, and is happily married with three children in Brick.

Kenny Chiu, MD

Dr. Kenny Chiu was born in Hong Kong. He moved to the United States in 1980 with his family at the age of seven and was raised in Queens, NY.

In 1995, Dr Chiu graduated Magna Cum Laude from Yale University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York City, 1999, where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Subsequently, he did his internship and residency in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian-Cornell Medical Center, from 1999-2002. In June 2005, he completed a three-year fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

His expertise includes cancer diagnosis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and specialized procedures such as ERCP, Endoscopic Ultrasound and Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy. He is happily married, living in Toms River with his wife and three children.

Brian P. Wolfman, MD




Dr. Brian P. Wolfman completed his medical and gastroenterology training at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, New York.His expertise includes disorders of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, including oncology, inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease. He has extensive training in hepatobiliary diseases and advanced training in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP and small bowel capsule endoscopy.

Prior to completing his medical training, Dr. Wolfman received his B.S. from Ohio University and a Masters of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami, FL. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is happily married with his wife and has three children
